Scoring Big for Iowa’s Future

We’re working to bring men’s and women’s professional soccer to Iowa and create a vibrant new destination for Des Moines, central Iowa and the state.

Our Mission

The Iowa Soccer Development Foundation was established in 2020 to help transform Iowa’s sports and entertainment landscape by bringing professional soccer to the state and creating a new community destination in Des Moines.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ISDF is focused on advancing the development of a professional soccer stadium and Global Plaza on a portion of the former DICO property. Together, these investments are envisioned to bring people together, strengthen our economy and create lasting benefits for Des Moines, central Iowa and the state.
